Taperlock bushes for go kart belt drive pulleys. The taperlock system provides a secure, interference-fit connection between the drive pulley and the shaft — and critically, one that can be removed and refitted without specialist tools. On a rental fleet where pulleys need to come off for inspection, replacement, or ratio changes, that makes a real practical difference compared to fixed-bore pulleys that fight you every time.

Simply loosen the taperlock screws, break the taper, and the pulley slides free. Refit is equally straightforward. For a busy workshop it's the kind of design that saves time on every service.

Select the correct taperlock size for your pulley tooth count using the guide below — fitting the wrong size taperlock to a pulley will result in an insecure fit.

Taperlock size guide:

  • 1008 — suits 22 tooth pulley
  • 1108 — suits 24 and 26 tooth pulleys
  • 1210 — suits 28 tooth pulley
  • 1615 — suits 30, 32, 34, and 36 tooth pulleys
