These Terms apply to all purchases and use of the Rental Kart Parts website.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our” = Rental Kart Parts
“You” = the purchaser (either a Consumer or a Business Customer)
Consumer = An individual purchasing for personal use
Business Customer = Any person or entity purchasing for trade, commercial or operational purposes
Your rights differ depending on which category you fall into.
2. Website Use
You agree not to:

Misuse or interfere with the website

Attempt fraud or payment abuse

Copy or scrape site content

Provide false information
We may suspend access if misuse occurs.
3. Orders & Contract Formation
An order is not legally binding until:

We confirm dispatch, or

Goods are shipped
We reserve the right to:

Refuse or cancel orders

Correct pricing errors
-
Limit quantities
If cancelled, you’ll receive a full refund.
4. Product Suitability & Installation Responsibility
Kart components must be fitted correctly and safely.
It is your responsibility to:

Confirm compatibility with your kart model

Verify part numbers
-
Ensure professional installation where required
We are not responsible for:

Incorrect fitting
-
Damage caused by improper installation
-
Use outside manufacturer specification
-
Competitive racing stress beyond rental parameters
-
Loss resulting from mechanical failure due to misuse
If in doubt, contact us before purchasing.
5. Pricing & VAT

Prices are displayed in [GBP/EUR]

VAT is shown where applicable

Trade pricing may differ from retail pricing
International customers are responsible for customs duties and local taxes.
Obvious pricing errors may be corrected before dispatch.
6. Payment
Payment is required in full before dispatch unless agreed trade credit terms apply.
Late payments on trade accounts may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation.
7. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
We are not liable for delays caused by:

Courier issues

Customs clearance
-
Incorrect address details
-
Force majeure events
Risk passes to you upon delivery.
8. Consumer Rights (UK & EU)
If you are a Consumer, your statutory rights are protected under:

Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK)

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

EU Consumer Rights Directive
This includes:

14-day cooling-off period for distance sales

Right to goods that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality

30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods (UK)
Nothing in these Terms reduces your legal consumer rights.
9. Business Customers
If you purchase as a Business Customer:

Cooling-off rights do not apply

Returns are at our discretion

Restocking charges may apply
-
Liability limitations apply in full (see Section 11)
Business customers are responsible for assessing product suitability for commercial use.
10. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.
Warranty does not cover:

Wear and tear
-
Incorrect installation
-
Racing abuse
-
Electrical components once fitted
-
Modified products
Proof of purchase is required.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence

Fraud
-
Any liability that cannot legally be excluded
Subject to that:
For Consumers:
We are liable only for foreseeable loss directly caused by us.
For Business Customers:

We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business interruption, downtime, or indirect losses.

Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
We are not responsible for operational downtime resulting from mechanical failure.
Karting carries inherent mechanical risk.
12. Intellectual Property
All branding, content, images, and descriptions remain our property.
No reproduction without written permission.
13. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

Abuse of returns

Fraudulent activity
-
Breach of Terms
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control, including supply chain disruption or regulatory action.
15. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
EU consumers retain mandatory protections under local consumer law where applicable.
