De Haardt Xtra CDI MK2 Shutdown Transponder – Petrol Kart Speed Control
The De Haardt Xtra CDI MK2 shutdown transponder is the kart-mounted unit that receives speed commands from the Xtra remote or mini remote control and acts on them via the CDI ignition system — reducing engine output, applying time penalties, or cutting the engine entirely in an emergency stop situation. One transponder per kart is required for full fleet control.
The MK2 version comes prepared for timing integration, making it the current specification for operators running or planning to run lap timing alongside speed control on the same system. If you're building out a full De Haardt Xtra installation from scratch, the MK2 is the correct transponder to specify from the outset.
Designed for petrol karts with CDI ignition systems. If your GX270 or GX390 engined karts require it, the De Haardt universal power coil is needed alongside this transponder — check your engine variant before completing your order.
