MyLaps Active Loop Power Supply Unit

The power supply unit that energises an active MyLaps timing loop, enabling it to communicate with and activate MyLaps active transponders as karts pass over it. Required in addition to the activator on active loop installations — without it, the active loop cannot power the transponder activation signal.

Not required on passive loop systems, which operate differently and do not need a separate power feed. If you are unsure whether your MyLaps installation uses an active or passive loop, check your activator and transponder specification before ordering — active and passive systems are not interchangeable and require different supporting hardware.

Not required for: Passive loop systems
