De Haardt Xtra Sector Sensor Cable – Go Kart Timing System

The sector sensor cable connects the sector sensor mounted on the kart to the De Haardt Xtra timing system, transmitting sector timing data back to the central system for lap-by-lap sector time analysis. One cable is required per kart — without it, the kart won't report sector times regardless of whether the sensor and system are functioning correctly.

Cables in a rental environment take a lot of abuse — caught on bodywork, snagged during maintenance, or simply worn through at the connector over time. If a kart is showing incomplete or missing sector times in the system, this cable is the first thing to check before assuming a fault elsewhere. More often than not it's a damaged or disconnected cable rather than a system issue.

Inexpensive to keep as a spare and straightforward to replace — the kind of part that should be on the shelf rather than on order when a kart drops out of timing.
