Replacement keyways for go kart rear axles. The keyway locks sprocket carriers, brake disc carriers, and other axle-mounted components to the axle — preventing them from spinning independently under the torque of acceleration and braking. It's a small part that does a critical job, and when it shears the consequences are immediate and unmistakeable — sudden loss of drive, sudden loss of braking, or both.
The 8x7mm size is the standard specification for most European adult rental kart rear axle components, making this one of the most useful keyways to keep permanently stocked in the workshop. Compatible with both 30mm and 50mm rear axles using the 8mm keyway specification.
A sheared keyway is a quick fix with stock on the shelf — and an expensive, frustrating wait without it.
