Gearbox Output Sprocket – 428 Chain – 22mm Bore – Go Kart

Replacement gearbox output sprockets for go karts running 428 chain drive. Sits on the gearbox output shaft and drives the chain to the rear axle — working in combination with the rear sprocket to determine the overall gear ratio of the kart.

Tooth count on the gearbox sprocket is the other half of the gearing equation. A smaller front sprocket raises top speed; a larger one improves acceleration. Adjusting both the front and rear sprocket together gives you much finer control over the gear ratio than changing either one alone — useful for dialling in performance across different track layouts, driver weights, or engine configurations.
