Compact chain splitter designed for breaking and shortening 428-pitch drive chains.
The threaded operating pin applies controlled pressure to push the chain pin through the link, allowing worn chains to be removed or new chains to be adjusted to the required length. A useful workshop tool for kart teams, rental operators and mechanics working with 428 chain systems.

Align the tool pin carefully with the chain rivet before applying pressure. Riveted or peened chain pins may need the head grinding down before removal to prevent damage to the tool.
