MyLaps Activator Unit – 20m Coaxial Cable Included

The MyLaps activator is the interface box that connects the timing loop wire buried in the track surface to the MyLaps timing system decoder. It energises the loop and processes transponder signals as karts pass over it — the critical link between the physical loop in the track and the timing data that appears in the system.
Supplied with 20 metres of coaxial cable for routing from the loop position back to the timing decoder — enough for most standard installations where the timing box is located in a nearby marshal post or timing hut. One activator is required per timing loop position, so a track running a start/finish loop and one or more sector loops will need one per point.
A straightforward but essential component — without the activator, the loop is just wire in the ground.
