The transition cable connects the De Haardt MK2 CDI shutdown transponder to the kart's CDI ignition system — the physical link that allows the De Haardt control system to cut the engine remotely when required. Without the correct transition cable, the transponder cannot communicate with the ignition and the shutdown function will not operate.

Specific to the MK2 CDI transponder — not compatible with the EV MK2 transponder variant. The two transponder types use different connection configurations, and fitting the wrong transition cable is a common installation mistake when running a mixed fleet or upgrading part of an existing De Haardt installation. Check your transponder variant before ordering.
