The transition cable connects the De Haardt MK2 CDI shutdown transponder to the kart's CDI ignition system — the physical link that allows the De Haardt control system to cut the engine remotely when required. Without the correct transition cable, the transponder cannot communicate with the ignition and the shutdown function will not operate.

Specific to the MK2 CDI transponder — not compatible with the EV MK2 transponder variant.
