The clutch springs determine the engagement RPM of the centrifugal clutch — the point at which the shoes engage the drum and drive is taken up. Spring rate selection directly affects how the kart pulls away and how the clutch behaves at low speeds, making this a key setup component on any dry clutch kart.

Blue springs are a specific rate — if you are replacing worn or broken springs, match the colour to your existing fitment to maintain the same engagement characteristics.
