Laps
Pit notes
A tired rental kart in bay 1, a shed full of parts and a 500 m track. Undo the bolts, swap what you like off the shelves, do everything back up, then drive it out of the door, down the pit lane and beat the times on the board.
It's as you found it: not much fuel and a dry chain. The jerry can and the chain lube are on the bench.
Set a clean lap and put your name on the leaderboard: press B in the shed, or tap Leaderboard.
Bolts need the socket set from the red toolbox on the bench, and the rear wheels need its 10 mm, which has a habit of going missing: find it, or break open the emergency 10 mm box by the door. Wheels, the engine and anything underneath need the kart up on the stand in your bay. The shelves hold today's stock: once it's gone it's gone, till the van comes at midnight (the kart sheet's Stock tab says what's left).
Out of the door and through the gap by the pit wall, there's a kart graveyard round the back worth a rummage (three goes a day). Six secrets are hidden about the place for anyone who explores on foot, each one a new look for you and the kart (looks only: they won't make it any quicker). And the marshals see everything.

Walk with your left thumb, drag anywhere else to look, and tap things to use them (or aim at them and press Use). Stood at the kart, hold Push to shove it about, and Jump clears the tyres on the inside of the track. At the kart, Zoom gets you in close and makes it see-through so you can pick out each bolt. In the seat, steer with the arrows and hold Gas and Brake with your right thumb. Stop anywhere and tap Get out.
A gamepad works too: sticks to walk and look, A to use (hold it to push the kart), B to drop, RB to jump, LB for work view. In the seat, triggers for the pedals and Start to get out.
